I have a BA in French and I plan to go into Nursing. I am finishing up prereqs now and plan to apply for a generic MSN or an accelerated BSN.
However I am going into nursing so that I can work at a medi spa or in a dermatology office doing things like Botox, fillers, and IPL to name just a few.
Are there any nursing schools that specialize in medical esthethics?
Is there any info on this? Have I posted in the right place?

I am also an esthetician and have been for 12 yrs. I career switched from agronomy after a 20 year career in that profession. I have an undergrad degree in that science.
I also want to do injectables, IPL and laser. And to answer your question, I am not aware of any school offering a medical esthetic/nursing degree or diploma.
There are lots of training programs available for licensees where you can learn all manner of esthetic tx/procedures. Some are privately offered, others are product specific training.
If you find out something different, lemme know!

There are no US nursing schools "specializing" in medical esthetics -- the US system trains and licenses nurses as "generalists;" that is, you study all the main areas of nursing in school, and graduate with general, broad knowledge (at an entry level) in nursing. After you graduate and are licensed, you can choose to specialize in whatever area you choose, and seek additional, "specialty" education that may be necessary for your desired career path. Best wishes!
Thanks. I have done my HW since I posted this back in Nov. I now know there is anything like my original post.
I just wish all the nursing schools were not so impacted.
