Omgggg I just want to scream!!! Nursing school is no joke! I've only being in school for 3 days and I have already had 1 quiz and another tomorrow!! All I can say is STUDY. My program is very fast pace! I'm already stressed out!

Good luck! If you don't have already, get a NCLEX review book. It'll lay out the topics your teachers are talking about in a way that is more clear and understandable. And remember to make time for yourself.

We are here to be your support group! Don't forget, if things get too hard or you need help w/ homework, there is also a board on allnurses for that! Best of luck, keep you head up! Don't forget the mantra "I can do anything for X amount of time!" Be it 5 minutes, 5 hours, 5 days or 5 years, YOU CAN DO IT!! :up:

What school do you go too? The school im goin to be going to is accelerated as well. They told us if you work full time, it will be very hard too keep everything going. Im switching to part time, just cause I want to be prepared. Good luck too you. And dont give up!!!!

I felt the same way when I started, and to top it off I started failing 3 classes! I think that's the weaning out phase. Just study hard and don't give up, you'll get through this! Its all about finding your routine.. once I finally found mine and was getting comfortable, the term was over and I have to start over again! :) Happy NURSING

I am so sick of people saying this. Nursing school is a joke. It's mostly fluff. All you have to do is read and look at tables. It's not hard. If you have any common sense then you will get through just fine.

maybe for you it was "easy", but for most it isn't, especially if they're just starting.
