nursing school info

I am from Folsom Louisiana looking for any info on nursing programs? I am 40 and my youngest graduates this year. Mom is ready for a career. Yeah for all MOMS!!! any info is appreciated.

Where do you want to go to school? NO,Baton Rouge? Do you have a college degree? If so there are the accelerated programs. Do you want to go for a 4 yr degree? or 2 yr degree?

1. Southern Univerity A&M (BR)

2. Baton Rouge Community College (BR)

3. Southeastern

4. LSU (NOLA)

5. Our Lady of Lake (BR, NOLA)

6. William Carey (NOLA)

7. Delgado Community College (NOLA)

8. Dillard University (NOLA)

There's also Baton Rouge General Hospital's nursing school. If you go to Delgado Charity, you can get your prereqs in Covington and Slidell. That helped me, get through the 1st couple of years without the commute.

check and see which is closest and which will fit your needs for the program that you would want to persue
