I was wondering if anyone can help me out with my nursing school essays. I will PM you, since I don't want it open to the public.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!

Wow. This post is a whole new low for allnurses. It is bad enough that so many newbie/students try to get homework help. Despite what you facebook/genX types think you are supposed to be able to write and edit your own nursing school essay.

Sad. OP, it's supposed to be your own work and your own thoughts.
I have spent countless hours on my nursing school essays AND studying for my classes. In fact, I have gone through multiple drafts so far. All I wanted was advice and peer editing from those who are already in the profession. I have already had my family members and friends edit it, but a nurse's perspective could be different and valuable.
I guess it was my mistake. Unfortunately, I do not think I can delete this thread.
One more thing, the whole point of peer-editing is to have someone ELSE read your essay.

What about your co-students? Can you come up with a way to get together with some of them, and have sort of a "essay party" and edit each others???
There was some confusion in the same post I made at a different board. I have a rough draft of my essays DONE, which has been edited multiple times already. I'm not asking anyone to write it for me. Just to clarify...
*Sigh* At this point, just pretend this whole thread does not exist. I don't think I can delete it...-_-

Snark much?
Did you happen to ask the nursing schools you that requested the essay if posting on AN requesting "peer-editing" for a PERSONAL essay was OK?
Didn't think so because you knew it's not OK.
Oh wow. I did not realize that this many people would be so unhappy about this post. I didn't think that "peer-editing" a personal essay was wrong. In fact, I thought it was encouraged.
It was my mistake for posting this here.
I will try to delete this post by contacting the staff, because obviously people are very unhappy and I am already very stressed out enough with my nursing school applications.

To the OP - sorry you did not find a welcoming response to your inquiry. In the future, please post to the Nursing Student Assistance Forum, instead of posting in the General Nursing Forum.
