Nursing School Acceptance Letters for this FALL

Hello All- I wanted to start a thread for those of us that are waiting for nursing school acceptance letters (or rejections:madface:) for this fall. I know that at my school all the pre-nursing students are talking about it and asking each other if they have heard anything.

So when you get a letter (of if already have) let us know:yeah:

:up::DWooHooo!!!!!!!! I got into the UNF Fall 2008 Prelicensure Nursing Class!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck to everyone! I was rejected the first time I applied and I got in the second time. So don't give up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Waves142 - do you recall from your interview, the amount of time to answer each question? Should the answers be short or more detailed? Any insight?? Thanks!

You want to be detailed enough to fully answer the questions, but don't bore them. Try to make it more of a conversation. That way you will feel more relaxed.

thanks for the info. Any other advice you can give...I'd welcome and appreciate. How is school going for you?

Some questions they might ask:

Who is your hero and why?

Describe yourself in 3 words

What are 2 things you hate to do and how do you make yourself do them?

At the end, they ask if you have any questions. Try to have something to ask them, such as "Why did you choose nursing" or "why did you choose your specialty".

As to how is school going, let's just say getting in is the easy part. Its a lot of information in a short amount of time.

I can finally post on this thread because I just got accepted to Samuel Merritt University for the ELMSN-Case Management!!!!!! For the longest time, I've been reading this thread and wished I was one of you guys, but now I finally am!! I'm so happy! Congratulations to everyone!!

The application deadline for the school I applied to is April 1. I have already turned mine in, and they said I should know something by the middle of JUNE!!! I'm going to go crazy waiting! :(

A bunch of girls were opening their letters during Physiology today. That was the hardest class to set through yet. I'm actually surprised I got accepted--I have a relatively low gpa, but am currently retaking some courses, and getting As in them. So happy!!!!!!!!!!!
