Hello All- I wanted to start a thread for those of us that are waiting for nursing school acceptance letters (or rejections:madface:) for this fall. I know that at my school all the pre-nursing students are talking about it and asking each other if they have heard anything.

So when you get a letter (of if already have) let us know:yeah:

April just cannot come soon enough for me :uhoh3:

My poor coworkers, I am driving them insane obsessing about it, but God bless them for wishing me the best anyway lol!!

Hello!!

I just got my acceptance letter in the mail today!!! I will be completing the LPN to RN transtion. I start in June I am so excited onestep closer to being an RN. GOOD LUCK to you all!!!!!!!!

That is wonderful to hear ! Congrats !! I have been accually thinking about going that route as well. I want to get alot of pre-reqs done though before I apply at my CC. They are considering a bridge program also. I need to work while going to school so hopefully LPN wouldn't be too tough (or time cumsuming). I know the RN is. I need a night school situation too. I work in a hospital already. I want to apply to a CNA program too. It never hurts. BTW are you already an LPN ? Congrats again !!!:yeah:

Are there any good text books that I could grab on ebay to look over for LPN school ? I know alot of nursing students sell their books there. I like to get a head start whenever I can !! Thanks again for your reply and best of luck to you !!:nurse:

I'm waiting to see if I got into the ABSN program at UT Houston. They don't send out letters until April 15th. It'll be a LONG wait! :)

i already posted here in february about how the letters come in midapril...well.....it is midapril & i am still waiting! i have become the psycho-mail-lady who darts out of the house as soon as i hear the mailman drive away from my mailbox. i am going crazy, just thought u all should know..& hopefully u all understand how i am feeling lol.:bowingpurwhere is it!?!! grrrr:banghead:

I know the feeling of waiting for that acceptance/rejection letter. I was going through anxiety :no: while enduring the wait my self. I only applied to two nursing schools because I can't travel that far since I have a sibling to take care of. I graduated Fall 06 from high school and I got accepted into Rutgers University traditional BSN program for Fall 08. I was literally jumping up and down screaming out loud, "YESSS!" So now, I'm just enduring the last of the pre-requisites I have to complete. First 5-week summer session with 4 courses, Ill be in the CC I'm attending now from 8AM-8PM. I'm such a masochist lol.

My acceptance/rejection EMAIL will be here sometime within the next 10-14 days. I am so tense I can't stand it. About 3 weeks ago we got an email confirming the number of application points submitted. For some reason for the last two weeks I have gotten a copy of that email. Whenever I see it in my inbox I freak. WHAT If ITS THE LETTER EARLY? MAYBE THEY SENT AN EARLY LETTER TO EVERYONE THEY KNOW THAT MADE IT? or MAYBE THEY SENT AN EARLY LETTER TO EVERYONE THEY KNOW IS REJECTED?

I get myself all worked up, and its just the same old email with my app points on it. When the actual email comes I am not even sure If I will be able to open it.

I applied in September of last year and I finally got my acceptance letter on March 14th. I will be starting pharmacology in May and will be done with that class at the end of June. This Fall I will be going to school full time. I'm a student at Oakland Community College in MI.

Well, I took my application in this afternoon. The deadline is May 1 and the mid-June is the earliest they will send out letters. I was nervous before I even turned in my application & now it's even worse. I asked my husband how was he going to deal with me over the nuext 2 or so months.

I feel like the days are trickling by. We were originally supposed to get our letters by mid April @ the latest. Then as of last week we are to look for them from the 24-28th of April. It is never going to get here.............................................
