Hello, I am currently a student at Kettering College of Medical Arts. I am not yet in the nursing program and I have been taking general classes. I was not accepted into the nursing program for this year and I am very concerned that I will not be accepted yet again. I have started looking at other options for nursing school and I was told the Miami University of Middletown had a good program and that there was no waiting list. I was told that as long as you have a good gpa you get accpeted to the program and can start taking the classes. I was wondering how true this is? I have called the school and left a message with the nursing department but have yet to hear back from them. Plus I am afraid they may just tell me what I want to hear, kind of how I feel KCMA did to me. If you have any information on the nursing program at MUM that would be greatly appreciated!! Also, if there are other schools you know of that would be awesome as well. Thanks so much!

I don't know anything about the waiting list at MUM but I have heard it is a good program. I am currently working on my prereqs at Raymond Walters. I was told we have a 2 yr waiting list for the nursing program.

Don't know anything either. But I graduated with my BS in Bus. Admin from MU-Oxford 7 years ago and I LOVE MIAMI!!! Wish I had known 10 years ago that I wanted to be a nurse and I probably would have availed myself of MUM. In terms of a school, MU is excellent. Hope that is true for NS at MUM!
GL!!!
