NURSING LINKS... post your best

Published

An ocean of invaluable information is at our fingertips. We should all share our best links, which are hard to find in a digital world of misinformation and sales-pitches.

I'll start with my favorite life and career-changing site even though we're already on it!

http://www.allnurses.com

I like this idea.

Me too! Here's a link you might like: the Center for Nursing Advocacy. Lots of good information, not only about media portrayals of nurses, but about the nursing shortage and the roles of nurses.

Specializes in School Nursing.

I always like http://www.mayoclinic.com to give to neighbors/friends who ask me for medical advice I don't want to give. (you all know the ones I'm talking about) It isn't so much for nurses but for lay persons and is a good public resource. I figure the mayo clinic is more reliable than a lot of stuff they're pulling off the internet.

Sometimes I go to the World Health Organization if I want to see what's happening on a larger scale: http://www.who.int/en/
