nursing jobs abroad for fresh grads

Published

hello everyone. just graduated from my bsn march 2009 and passed the june 2009 nle. from then till now, i still haven't landed a genuine hospital job. i also tried applying online for nursing jobs abroad but most of them need nurses with at least i-2 years experience. does anyone know of a website or agency where a nurse with no experience can apply? thanks very much in advance for your help.

Try Saudi Arabia or Kuwait. Go to the website of POEA www.poea.gov.ph click on "Approved Job Orders" and ask each agency.

Try joining the Nurse Corp

I am also aware of nurse position in the Fire Departments and Philippine National Police but I do not know their website. I just happen to hear about them through acquaintances who happen to be in the service ...

Thanks for the tips about the PNP and Fire Department. There however, I am overage. Their age limit is age 35. I am age 34. Thanks anyway.

what is the job description of a nurse in the fire department? im just curious.

I am not that certain about the job description of a nurse in the bureau of fire protection, but from what an acquaintance told me ... you are a nurse having to take care of fellow fire officials and when necessary you go along with the fire brigaded when there is a fire or emergency.

The BFP also has its (EMS) Emergency medical services, they man the ambulance and respond to emergencies (trauma and medical). I've also seen some in the (SRU) Specialized rescue units.

My nephew arrived in California from the Philippines in September 2009 thru family-based immigrant visa petition. He then spent the next SEVEN months frantically applying on-line to countless hospitals all over the U.S.A. He finally found an RN job in Texas but he said he was so overworked and so stressed at his job he again looked for another RN job anywhere else in the U.S.A.

In November 2010 he was hired by the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. He said he likes working at the Mayo Clinic and I'm so happy for him. I saw the hospital during one of my several visits in the Phoenix area and I was impressed by it, but moving to Arizona never entered my mind though. Having been acclimatized to the cool and pleasant Northern California climate, I just couldn't stand the extreme desert heat of Arizona. You have to experience it to believe and understand what I'm talking about!

I know someone who works as an office worker in San Francisco who passed the NCLEX almost a year ago. She has not yet found an RN job here in California!
