    DOH launches RN HEALS

My appointment today was 1:30pm , But I got interviewed around 5pm The line and wait was crazy , but the interview was around 10-15 mins. We were interviewed at Malate, Manila ... DOLE office. The applicants were around 300+ today. I heard tomorrow will be Quezon City ... Get there extra early to be prioritized for your interview. 2-3 hours early ! Medical Certificates were not asked. Only PRC license, Proof of residence, and Resume ... that's all . Depending on who will interview you ... get ready for crazy questions like danger signs of pregnancy, immunization schedule, Leupold's maneuver, and etc heheheh ... I got lucky I did not get any of those questions. Mine was more of a casual conversation. Lastly, be willing to be assign in the provinces !! not Manila ... lucky ones will be in manila but be ready to have a 2nd option.

The Life of a New Nurse in the Philippines

@Amber: The best way I think is to open up to your parents how you feel, in communicating your thoughts and hearing their side both parties can come to a conclusion of what is the best solution for your current dilemma. Communicate, communicate, communicate! Good Luck. Do not forget to pray! Prayers do wonders ... Have faith. Things will get better ..

Manila Adventist is that strict with their employees ? You really need to be an Adventist ... That's a shame. Where all of the staff and clinical instructors at your college, Adventist ?

@mrsinister: Where you enrolled on MAMC critical care training before ? How was your experience? I called them up and they informed me that it would be 3 months and 7, 500. No schedule yet, and no additional information was given. Do you have an idea how they conduct their training? Do they consider hiring you after the training ? Do they have other trainings aside from CC ? Do they accept volunteer nurses who did not study in their college?
