I am cheeeesing!!! Because I am OFFICIALLY a nurse. That's right! No longer am I the licensed NON-WORKING individual. But I am not here to gloat or rub it in. I wanted to give some tips. They are kind of out-of-the-norm....very stalker-ish even! Hopefully, these will help you as they did me. FYI...try to be discreet at certain times with a few of these rules. Happy hunting!... *doing my happy dance* Boo-yow!!!!! *fist pump*
I am so excited for you!! I was just offered a position, and took it of course, this morning! Now, here's my two cents.

I graduated from nursing school May 2010, almost two years ago, and took the NCLEX-RN a year ago, becoming licensed. Let me tell everyone, keep striving for your dreams. I was planning to give up if a job did not come through this month, but am so glad I did not give up! There is a place for everyone, like my Mom says. Keep your head high and know that, anyone, no matter what, has a place in the profession as long as you are willing to work for it... and continue the passion for the art.

I wish everyone the best of luck in their job searches, and there is something out there waiting for you!

Thank you so much for this post! I can't wait to try all your "stalker" tips! I've been searching since June, in four different states and only had one interview... Needless to say, I'm frustrated! Your post has given me new hope and a renewed sense of energy to keep on trying.

    Thank you!

This is awesome, and as someone who is only starting to take prereqs, very encouraging. I was starting to get TERRIFIED that I am embarking on a journey in a field where there are no jobs at all.

    Congratulations, and THANK YOU!
