Nurses Safety

Can someone working out there give me a run down on dangers of nursing.
LIke disease dangers, insurance problems, losing your license etc.

don't forget that all these risks occur in the general population as well. Just being exposed to the public puts us all at some risks. The alternative is to be a hermit, I suppose, but the pay is really bad.

I wasn't being facetious - I honestly needed clarification as to what OP (Koan) wanted! Most of my safety issues in the ER deal with drunk and high patients/families. Yes - assault is a very real danger at least in the inner city ER where I work! As to losing your license - way too many ways to do that to list here.
