IT Solutions supplement to Nursing Management

If you have not yet seen September's issue of Nursing Management and more importantly the supplement to the periodical - IT Solutions get it.

The supplement contains 5 excellent articles:

1) Deep impact: Informatics and nursing practice

2) Translating traditional into creative through e- learning

3) Mobility and med admin

4) Clinical systems adoption: Change at all levels

5) Visual controls improve patient flow

If you don't subscribe to Nursing Management get the supplement from your VP of Patient Care, the DON, a nurse manager or your CNO.

If you don't have access to one of the above, private message OR e-mail me your fax number (DO NOT PUT IT ON THE FORUM) and I can fax you a copy of the supplement. I can't find the electronic version on the NM website or I'd post it as an attachment !! Technology is great....... when it works!!!

My offer to fax anyone a copy is only good for the month of Sept 2008!

Hello,

As a BSN student I am writing a paper on Nurse Informatics. A copy of this supplement, or at least article 1) Deep impact: Informatics and nursing practice, would be very helpful as I'm finding it difficult to locate recent full-text articles meeting the course criteria.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

As I wrote in my original post, the IT Solutions was a supplement to the Sept 2008 issue of Nursing Management, Volume 39, Number 9 and I could not find it (the supplement) on-line/electronically. I had a hard copy in Sept and at that time offered to fax a copy to anyone who requested it. That offer expired in Sept of 2008.

You can contact Nursing Management and ask if they can get you an electronic copy of the supplement or can point your in the right direction to obtain one. Please share with this forum any leads receive.
