but I'm worried I won't be able to find work as a military spouse with all the traveling and possibly living overseas. I was also thinking of joing the reserves myself. Can anyone give some insight on the job outlook for me and what type of challenges I might face in the predicament I'm in.
If you're moving overseas, well, the predicament is that most likely finding a job won't be as easy since most employers want you to be on site. However, if you're an extremely valuable team member, you can get away with working remotely with some progressive employers.
Also, some positions, like reporting, or an interface analyst, could have better chances of having a remote position, but those positions tend to be more technical than your average informatics analyst position, where you do zero programming or barely do any database querying.
So insight on job outlook as a new analysts in the field for somebody going overseas who is new in the field? Definitely not the best. If you had experience in the field along with some expertise in a specific area, then the outlook might be better.
