Anyone here worked at PGH before? Looks like they're hiring. While waiting out the retrogression, might as well, right?

Are they going to return it or not? :)

They most likely won't return them.

Hello i just want to ask if there are deadlines for submitting the requirements after passing the exam.. I passed last Feb 6 2012 and im planning to pass it after my 4 mos training (if ever there would be no deadlines). Can you help me bout this?? thank you :)

Unless you forfeit your application/fail the other steps they won't return your original docs so better have a copy of those docs.. :)

Also, if you submit your docs earlier then they could also schedule your initial interview as soon as possible.

Good luck! :)

(One year has passed since my application to PGH, but i'm not losing hope. Patience is a virtue.)

ohh goodluck :)) when did you pass your requirements?? are you also done with your interviews or not yet?? 1 year?? ohh , i see .. we really need a lot of patience in this chosen path haha :D

I heard from other RNs that it took 2 to 3 months to get their scheduled interview .. maybe it really depends :))

thank you for your response :)) so it means there are no deadlines :)) i'll just pass my requirements after my training :D GOD BLESS !! GO NURSES :D

They are accepting nurse applicants for manpower pooling. I went to PGH earlier to submit my credentials to the DNRD but my heart sank when I read the notice on the DNRD window that it usually takes an average of 2-3 years for an applicant to be deployed as a staff nurse after successfully going through the final interview. Btw they are not accommodating applicants on all Wednesdays of this month. Besides they are only accepting nurse applicants from 8am-12pm.

hi! i am scheduled for the npe this march.. please kindly give me some tips..at where area/ topic shall i focus on my review? i am so nervous and unsure about this. i've been an RN since 2008 and never did i have the chance to work in a hospital. it feels like i forgot all about nursing. please give me some help... thank you very much!

Hi jadenyumi! Sorry for the very late reply :-) I suggest you to focus on Fundamentals of Nursing but do not overlook the other efficient subjects as well...You should be very keen and specific on answering - doing this would HELP you a lot - as they say the exam is very easy but still many are managed not to pass the exam. According to them, the mortality rate of the exam is 85-90%. Why this happens? It's because many are not paying attention to the hidden pitfalls of the exams. You don't need to be a genius nor to review all of the nursing stuffs that you seemed forgotten. You just have to bring your common sense and prayers with you and there you go :-) Luckily, i'm one of the 37 persons who passed the Jan. 20, 2012 NPE exam and will be submitting my documents required by the PGH to be submitted :-)

Hey Suswot, were you able to pass the requirements? I went to the DNRD @ PGH last Wednesday at around 3 in the afternoon to submit mine but they weren't accepting applicants that time. I went back the next day at 10am but there was a staff meeting. I had to wait until 12 to pass my requirements. The POC got my envelope and he had me take the aptitude exam. I was told to look for the POC in the NSO near ward 9 to get the schedule of my panel interview but I decided to go home instead since I didn't have a cedulla and passport size pic handy that time.

Yaiy, I learned it the hard way hehe. :D Hey I just got my panel interview schedule. I was scheduled on July 17, 2012 tentatively. I hope everything goes well. Hey one question though, what are the things that panelists normally ask during the interview? Please please, hehe thanks in advance! Cheers and God bless us all.
