gwenith posted a website with the banana song that I loved singing to the very end. While on that site, I sang another song that I always loved singing as a child, teenager, adult....even now.
Click on the link and sing along then share how it made you feel afterwards! We need a little joy and laughter in our lives, so be a kid and act silly and have a good time singing along and sharing your favorite childhood, teenhood, adulthood songs that make you laugh, smile, or simply feel all fuzzy in side. :kiss

"Siiiiiiiinging in the rain...just singing in the rain... I'm HAAAAPPY again...."
Love it !
Thanx Renee !
Awwwww........singing in the rain is another one of my favorites.
Speaking of singing in the rain.......it's been raining cats and dogs off and on here, and a special news broadcast just came on with another bad storm warning tonight just like we had last night.
I will think of that song when it's pouring down hard and dropping thunderbombs loud enough to shake the apartment building I live in. Yes.....that happened last night.

Oh gosh!!! I remember singing Daisy, Daisy at Kindergarten graduation. I had such a crush on the little boy that I had to waltz with. Declared that I would marry him one day. Young, foolish......AH! Puppy love......lol :imbar

Nat King Cole sang a version of that song that is really pretty. I downloaded it off of Bearshare, just FYI. You could send that one to your mom!
I'd be happy to send it to you if someone could just tell me how...can you do it through email?
PS. I had to isten to it again, and now I'll be singing that ALL DAY!!! Thanks, ya'll.
PPS. Am I the only person in the world who was in love with the movie Hans Christian Anderson with Danny Kaye? Oh, I could sing "Thumbelina" for hours.
*sigh*
Where has all the goodness gone? You know?
Oh! I've got another one!
"I've Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts"
My little brother and I used to have a record with that song on it, and we wore the thing out! Literally.
I have to thank you all for cheering me up today. :)
Oh I can't remember that one...just the first line....lol lol lol Does anyone have a link to that one
Down at Barnum's fair
One evening I was there
When I heard a showman
Shouting underneath the flair
Oh, I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts,
There they are all standing in a row.
Big ones, small ones, some as big as your head
Give 'em a twist, a flick of the wrist,
That's what the showman said.
Oh! I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts
Every ball you throw will make me rich.
There stands me wife, the idol of me life,
Singing Roll a bowl a bowl a penny a pitch.
Singing, roll a bowl a bowl a penny a pitch,
Roll a bowl a bowl a penny a pitch,
Roll a bowl a bowl Roll a bowl a bowl
Roll a bowl a bowl a penny a pitch.
Roll a bowl a bowl you son of a *****.
I looked but all I could find were the lyrics. :>(
