Nursing 4600 Excellence Spring Session 2

The syllabus for this class was emailed yesterday. Most non-clinical assignments are DB items. Clinical looks fairly straightforward that culminates in a research paper. These are not clinicals in the classical sense of the word. Each week you are asked to submit a small assignment such as topic of choice (from several choices), outline, plan and final paper.

Looks like they paired down previous assignments for this class to accommodate the 'clinical' component. No quizzes. Only one book required and it is an easy read.

I spend 12-18 hours working on one assignment and there are usually 3 due week.

Last DB post done! Today I will finish my final assignment paper. That's the plan anyway. I have to find the umph to get it done today. A lot of the info for the final assignment is the same info required on the other ICP papers. We got this!!!

I just turned in my final paper!! I was broad sided by a bad grade from last weeks letter. I must have misread the rubric and missed a step!! ugh!!!!! I have 2 DB responses and then I am done!!! Way to go to the others that are done!!! I am not far behind!! I hope to soon join you!!!!

Oh, just wanted to say that these boards have been a lot of help through the program. People have been helpful and kind, and it's been nice beotching together. I've recommended this place to a few OU RN-BSN gals and they like it to. It's kind of like being in class a little bit, something that we miss with the online program. Rock on guys and dolls and be the best nurse you can be!

Congrats! I am almost done with my final paper for 4600 as well. Just have lovely Nutrition left for first summer term and then I am done as well..ready for a break and more time with my family and friends! We should all be very proud! :)

Congrats everyone. And to reiterate...this class was not that bad right?? Clinical portion not that bad at all.

FYI to those who have PM'd me for information: I took 4600 in February so I am not the one to ask for recent information. I have already thrown out all my paperwork months ago. Good luck to future students. I am FINISHED with my BSN!!
