If anyone else applying for the nursing corps scholarship 2015-2016 is anything like me then you've been googling like crazy trying to find out information on how to apply or what they need or even previous years winner. Soooooo.....if anyone is applying this year around or previously has and was or wasn't accepted please tell me your experience! Here are my stats PLEASE share yours if you'd like....

My last name begins with P. My application status hasn't changed; I think it only does when they send the finalist email.
To try to alleviate my nerves I re-read last year's thread and it seemed like quite a few people from New Jersey had checks and/or acceptances earlier than people from other states. (Plus like 3 of them were accepted the day after credit checks, so I'm going to try to exercise all my willpower to not obsessively check my email every few minutes over the next few days ). I'm sure everyone is going to start hearing back really soon cause last year there were a ton of acceptances around now.

sooo....i got my credit checked by CREDCO??? it was checked yesterday, 7/29. I was so confused by it because I was looking for HRSA or some other federal agency name...but I saw other people got checked by CREDCO too. so I'm taking this as good news!!! I am so excited! I checked my portal and it still says under review. Maybe tomorrow or Friday I will get news?? ANXIOUS NOW! I am in South Carolina by the way. Last name stars with an E. I will be constantly checking my email and portal until I hear further news.
I applied as an Accelerated BSN student. CREDCO appeared on my credit report 7/28. I am in Indiana. My last name starts with B. My undergrad gpa was at 3.2 and grad programs my gpa was 3.5 and 3.6. I have research experience in academia for two years. My volunteer experiences include working at a homeless shelter, working for an HIV social services program at a local hospital, Big Brother Big Sister and Girls Inc.
I am really excited and praying for everyone! Hope the good news come very soon.
I signed up for credit karma which is free. CREDCO showed up as an inquiry in my Experian report. The entire time I have been waiting to get a notification from credit karma, but I just happened to look today. Looking at others that reported CREDCO showing up as an inquiry, I am assuming it HRSA. I am trying not to get too excited until my status is updated and I receive an official email.
Hey guys! I also received a credit check from Credco on today! (7/30). I've been closely following this thread, and I'm rooting for all of us. I live in VA, and my last name starts with "C." I applied with acumulative GPA of 3.9, and an EFC of 2053. I have intern experience in the local Community Health Center, and I am currently working in Dialysis. Good luck to everyone, and may we all bring home the good news!
