I was discharged from my job because IDPH says I come to work drunk and beat up on residents...Well I'm not a drinker and I dont beat up on old people...in fact the resident they say I did something to gave me a hug when I came in the door before I found out I was fired now what is that?
I get so tired of working in nursing homes and I'm really tired of it now! Many of the other colleagues stated "that is ridiculous" I wonder if I could take the administrator and IDPH to court for lying and defamation
character can anyone give me advice or know a lawyer??
Isn't that stupid I worked there a year never miss adays work and always good to the residents and family members even they say that was not right...

It isn't about starting trouble. The trouble has already started. If you were fired for the reasons stated and you are a licensed nursing professional, then they will probably report you to your state or government licensure body. That would be the BON of each state here in the United States. If you are reported, there will be an investigation.
Get a lawyer.
