Nurses Career Support

Published

I am planning on attending college. I want to be a Obgyn nurse but I just want to get some things straight before I proceed onto college. First off, (this might sound dumb but I want to get it straight) I wanted to know if there are specific nurses for the obgyn ward or are the considered Obgyn nurses. Second, I wanted to know what kind of degree I would need and how long would it take. And I wanted to know what the difference was between the degrees. All help and advice will be appreciated. THANX!

Is a Obgyn nurse also considered a maternity nurse i mean can they also work in hospitals in the maternity floor?

Hi and welcome to the site

I think you will find you need to do your RN training and then specialise in an area that you like. You may want to look at the student section as well as the OBS forum
