I PERSONALLY LIKED THE BOOKS THAT DID NOT SEPARATE INTO CATEGORIES. YOUR NCLEX TEST WILL NOT BE BROKE UP INTO SUBJECTS AT ALL. SO I HAD 4 BOOKS INCLUDING SAUNDERS IT WAS GOOD BUT THE BOOK I PREFERRED WAS VERY HARD TO FIND AND WAS WRITTEN BY SUSAN POORMAN AND MELISSA MASTOROVICH. BOTH NURSES WHO TRAVEL ALL OVER THE USA TEACHING REVIEW CLASSES. THE BOOK WAS GREAT. PASSED AFTER BEING OUT OF SCHOOL FOR 2 YEARS WITHOUT ANY HELP OR REVIEW CLASS JUST MY TRUSTY BOOK. ALSO HAD KAPLAN AND MOSBY I THINK. TRYING TO SELL THEM ALL NOW BUT I NO LONGER KNOW ANY OTHER NURSES IN NEED OF TAKING NCLEX EXAM. BEST OF LUCK TO U.
I just graduated nursing school and passed the NCLEX on the first try. I have a collection of books from made incredibly easy, kaplan, princeton review, nln review, and saunders. I used the saunders question and answer book esp the CD more than any of the others. The Saunders comprehensive review is also a good source to refresh your memory. I went to a three day workshop for nclex review with Slyvia Rayfield and also bought her Insanely Easy books!!! Wonderful investment. Im very visual and the pics and acronyms helped me tremendously. IF it wasnt for those books I would have missed some questions. Here is her website if your interested http://www.sylviarayfield.com/index.htm
Good Luck
