does anyone have January's Redbook Magazine?

I read, (I think it was Spectrum) that Redbook magazine was to publish several of the letters to the editor regarding the artical about NP's that raised our hackles just a little while back....I don't generally buy the magazine anyway, however I was hoping to find the January issue still on the stand....too late, Feb. is out now...So I am wondering if anyone has the January issue lying around, check out the letters to editor section......enlighten me please. thanks..........LR:)

i saw it at work. yes, there were rubuttals to their article in which they dissed np's.

I don't usually read Redbook, unless I'm thumbing thru it in a waiting room, so I missed the Jan article, and I only just now read the thread on this forum about the article and the letters to the editor that many of y'all were writing.

Can I make a suggestion?

If you want to make Redbook sit up and take notice, you need to hit them where it hurts: Advertising. Call, email, or write to their advertisers and explain that you are boycotting Redbook due to this article, and you will be boycotting their products as well, because you cannot support this ignorance.

Imagine, if some of these advertisers got thousands of complaints... they might just pull their support.

Yeah...like if Johnson and Johnson advertised in Redbook...well, maybe since they are now promoting nursing, they might not want negative publicity from a magazine that so publicly dissed APRN's.
