Well, right now I love my patients and I love what I do so much that it doesn't bother me that much, my company not acknowledging nurses week. I've just worked for companies that have done so much more for this week. Funny though that they were all jobs that I enjoyed much less than the one I have now.

We got a cookie, milk, and a multicolored pen. I felt more like a school girl than a grown nurse.....but I was happy they showed appreciation. I truly like my job.

I've got a pretty good job I like to do that pays pretty well. As far as I'm concerned, every day is nurse's day.

"pretty " good and "pretty" well. .. does not cut it.

We are overworked and unappreciated every week. We deserve some token of appreciation during nurses week.

It does for me. I feel very well appreciated every week, so it's really no skin off my nose if I don't get a week of appreciation. I feel the same about mother's day and my birthday, with regards to my kids/husband.

I feel like I'm well compensated for my role, and I know the place would fall apart in my absence. That is recognition enough for my hard work and dedication to my job.

Clearly, it's for the neglected night staffers who get less love than the day shifters ;)

Yeah....we know it'd totally kill DD's bottom line if they offered the daily cup of coffee ALL 24 hours in a day!

SUCH a bad time for me to be on a diet, LOL!
