No, it's not a typo... one week just isn't enough time to show our appreciation for all that nurses do so we've kicked off our National Nurses Week contests early!

This year, our contests are even bigger than before. We're starting the celebration today with a fun "Fill in the Blank" contest which features two $250 Amazon.com gift cards for the most creative submissions. Early next week we'll launch the second contest and the contests and giveaways will keep coming so you'll want to keep checking back and entering to increase your chances of winning those big prizes!

Fear not, though, because if you don't win one of the $250 prizes you're still eligible to win one of the following items shown in the photo below and more...

that the WHOLE family is in the room.

That those necrotic toes fell off.

Poop head to toe

The IV pulled out with blood everywhere.

A different skin color than what they were before (code blue)

that they have missed the bed pan 😫!!!

My patient holding their Foley in their hand with the balloon still inflated and their ripped out IV in the other hand.

Specializes in ICU.

That a family member has called a physician that is on spring break, on their cell phone that hasn't been consulted and wants me to talk to him and take verbal orders.

the patient asking for pain medication after I just left two minutes ago and had offered it at that time!

His hand isn't stuck in one of his orifices...again

The patient holding their foley bag and tubing with the balloon still inflated

Their visitor has fallen and has obviously broken their hip and is bleeding everywhere. Seriously it happened once.
