Has anyone ever heard of the board auditing AA attendance forms?

Nope. I went three years and never had my forms audited. And if they did, all the signatures say is "Carol" and "Dave", no last names so no way to track down anyone to match signatures.

No way to audit the signatures. I think that's why the GPS garbage is here now. At least nurses have to drive to the correct location before initials are forged

I have not. How could they. I don't have yo get mine signed and I don't believe the meetings keep any type of log.

No. I am supposed to attend meetings 3 times/week. I go twice a week and then as my third, I attend online wtfe anonymous.

I am supposed to attend AA/NA meetings 3 times a week and show evidence of a sponsor. I thought it was anonymous so how am I supposed to show evidence of a sponsor? Does anyone else have to do this?

Yes I do have to show attendance of 3 meetings a week and have a name of a sponsor. I haven't talked to my sponsor in a long time and only go to the meetings because I have to. It stinks but those are the rules I gotta follow

I was supposed to have a sponsor, but I never had to give anything other than first name. I used the name of a friend who'd gone through tpapn before and agreed to let me use her name. I asked her ahead of time in case they went further later & started wanting to contact my "sponsor" I would actually have someone for them to contact. But they never did. She & I were friends, we never had a real sponsor type relationship.

Yeah the last time I talked to my sponsor was about the first time I talked to my sponsor. I have a sponsor and attend meetings as per the dictates of the program but I don't even pretend to get anything out of the whole 12 step thing

Each Board is different. In Indiana, I heard the INPRP will be doing GPS tracking on your phone to ensure you are going to meetings.

I will do what I have to do to keep my license, but 3 a week for 3 years seems like a lot. Though all of this that we have to go through is a lot. The stress I am going through with this whole process actually doesn't help with recovery. Sometimes you really want to say screw it!
