Nurse Trainee Programs 2013

Hello everyone. I would like to ask if you know any hospitals in metro manila accepting nurse trainees this august 2013? I graduated last april 2012..I completed my bls acls (AHA), IVT trainings first and now I plan to apply to hospitals..my work experience is limited (2 mos staff nurse trainee in a dermatology clinic). Help pls. Thank you!

Hello! @Sab-burgs, I have read a thread of yours stating that UST MS WARD training will start on September 2013? From where did you exactly get the info? :( As I have passed my resume this July and until now, I am still waiting for their call.

I actually don't know my next step after a 4-month training in a hospital in Marikina. :S I recently passed resumes at UST, Medical City and Cardinal.. and I am still waiting for their call. :S Hopefully I get one soon.

UST - Board Rating requirement ABOVE 80%. TOR, BOARD RATING, PRC LIC (All xerox) - Pass it to UST HOSPITAL (NSO). 3MONTHS (5k?)

AUGUST - PEDIA/MATERNAL

SEPTEMBER - MS WARD

Hello bewilderedRN. Is the 4month training you are into is considered pre-employment evaluation? You can be absorbed after that? Like you will just wait for a call as to when you will be deployed?

I knew the info because I went there around July to pass my resume. I was asked to write down my preferred area. I asked them as to what areas they offer training. The lady from the HR mentioned those schedules. I don't prefer maternal/pedia that is why I asked for MS ward. I was advised to wait for a text to confirm if I am going to join the training by September. I believe it is still early as of the moment. They might text us around end of August or 1st week of July. You can call them if you want to confirm for the schedule or any possible changes in it. :)

I trained at Marikina Valley Medical Center in Marikina, it's a 4month training (P4,000 training fee + 1k plus for the Medical fee). You'd be absorbed most prolly if you are included in the Top 10 amongst the trainees. :) However, you still have to wait for quite some time since there are trainees who have "backers" and they will also prioritize the previous batches. :D

Hi there! chubibay RN, I passed my requirements at Cardinal last July. However, up until now, I haven't received any text from them :( I am not sure if their training will start this August or November, 10k for 3months.

i passed mine last marh 15, 2013 and unfortunately until now they haven't txt or call. someone told me from their office that they will be prioritize those who submit from 2012..:( its like first come first serve basis (maybe) ..

Hi! I just recently passed necessary reqts at usth also, around 2nd or 3rd week of july and haven't receive any text or call from them yet up until now. ? my preferred ward was ob/pedia i think. Do you guys just receive a text from them? And how true is that they require above 80% board rating? ???

Hi Anj20!, I also passed my requirements at UST on the same time period as yours, and I haven't received any call/ text from them either.

Did anyone pass their requirements at Cardinal/ UST/ Medical City/ St. Lukes-GC last July and have received a call/ text from them already? :(

Or do you have any news as to what approximate dates will they be calling for an exam/ interview? :(

Hi Anj20!, I also passed my requirements at UST on the same time period as yours, and I haven't received any call/ text from them either.

And what specific ward did you register at? Mine was ob/pedia, taught it was this august but did not received any text from the nso. Hoping this first week of september. :)
