According to Gallup, we're still the most honest and ethical profession- but scores have dropped since 2020. Is that like getting an A, not an A+?
Nurses Retain Top Ethics Rating in U.S., but Below 2020 High
While it's seriously fantastic, I can't lie; it stung just a bit. Maybe that comes from that overachiever mentality many of us share.

The whole world is in a bad bitter mood, maybe not everyday but often .Covid has caused such turmoil and heartache,we miss our family get togethers, travel stress free or whatever floated your boat before corona. So if you put another survey in front of me,...I might not be in an open generous mood.So be it ,for me anyway.

But it's time to put some of that (As much as feasable anyway) in it's proper place. My dad used to say use the past to inform your actions and not to define your actions. We welcomed trick or treaters in October, Had family gatherings in November and December, My son and I went to France, Superbowl is coming up and a wedding in August.
I take precautions and have had Covid twice but refuse to live in fear, unlike my husband who is hiding under the bed as I write this.
I think people just have a general lack of trust in the establishment and many see nurses as part of that. This statement is largely anecdotal so I can't cite a souce.
