Good day fellow nurses,

I would like to ask your help regarding my application for NCLEX (State of Texas). I am having a hard time following the procedures for the application for license by examination in their website. I am really confused which one should I do first. I am also having a hard time understanding the FINGERPRINT system that they are asking. I am currently residing in Dubai and I finish my nursing course in the Philippines. I am not sure if they have an agency here that will conduct the fingerprinting or will they send it by mail and will I just stamp my finger print with it. I really don't know what shall I do. I would really appreciate a lot if you could help me. Thank you in advance. God bless you all!

There should be a precise instruction included in the application packet for Texas, they have MorphoTrust /IdentoGo to do the background check which will cost you around $37. The link for the site is included in the packet, find the "Applicant residing outside Texas", choose the link given in that form.. Follow the instructions, and pay for the fee, you will be given a form that you need to submit along with your finger print card.

All Fingerprints must be completed by a law enforcement agency only.

Hope this helps
