Hi! has anyone taken a nurse refresher course online? Please let me know what you thought about it. Did it really help or was it a waste of time and money? Thank you :)

I don't know much about refresher courses. If it has been a long time since you have practiced as a nurse, then I could see it perhaps being helpful.
However, you need to be sure that if a job prospect is requiring you to take a refresher, that you are sure that the one you are taking is something they will accept.
Just throwing it out there, however, if you were to do an RN to BSN online, would that be a better route to reach your goals? But again, be sure that where you are seeking to work that they will accept this--there are facilities who will not accept an online anything.
If there is a particular facility that you would like to work, speak to their nurse educator. Speak to HR of the facility. I would hate to think of anyone taking up time and money taking courses that may not do a thing to assist in allowing you to work.
Good luck!!
