Thank you so much for your response! This really gives me hope of getting into a residency program. After researching a lot of nurse residency programs, I felt discourage because it seem like they were only looking for new grads. What hospital did you do a residency in?

I would be willing to move anywhere!! do you know of any residency program that would accept a nurse who graduated 2 years ago and with 1 year experience?

PLEASE HELP!!!! im interested in applying for a nurse residency program at a hospital. I know that majority of residency programs only accept new graduates (6-12months) Does anyone know any residency program that will accept a nurse that has been out of school for 2 years and working 1 years as a school nurse?
