Nurse-Patient Ratio Laws

I'm wondering whether anyone knows of a good resource for finding out the status of nurse-patient ratio laws by state. I live in California where we have such laws, but it's my understanding that my state is the only one with such laws on the books.

California is the only state right now.

I'm wondering whether other states are considering it, if it's being debated or considered, etc.

California is the only state with a ratio law.

Most other states have had ratio laws be offered up. A lawmaker wants to look good to constitients, and may propose legislation. But few ever go the full trip and get voted on. And many of the legislators know, that they will go nowhere.

Given the amount of PAC money that hospitals have access to, few ratio laws have a chance at actually coming to a vote.
