Nurse Enlisted Commissioning Program USAF

Hello, I am in the Air Force. I recently applied to the 2010 Nurse Enlisted Commissioning Progam (NECP). I am waiting for the board results. Anyone else out there as anxious as me?

I also sent Brooke the 07,08 & 09 NECP guidelines (for comparison) they always change something year to year.

Also to everyone....There's an article that came out a few days ago that says OTS is not accepting anymore applications until further notice. I know that with nursing programs you go to COT training not OTS, but it makes me curious to see the 2010 numbers for AECP to see if that program was effected too with all the "Force Reduction" going on???

I heard that too. A co-worker was getting ready to apply to OTS, they discontinued non-rated boards for this fiscal year...

Dang you still have the guidelines from 07 and 08? Now that's serious. I remember when it first started there was no minimum GPA to apply.

yes I did, thank you. I wonder when the 2011 guidelines will come out, so I should call or email that Mr. Baker that is listed and ask him?

They have come out in Oct the last few years. I called them last august, they told me that the GPA would change and a couple other things. I figure that in June/July they are busy with the current year applicants, so I waited and called after school started, in late August

I think I might have gotten the email address wrong. I"ll resend. I just found out that the average GPA for NECP applicants this year is 3.4.
