Nurse Corps Scholarship 2018-2019

Hi Everyone, I'm planning to apply for the HRSA NurseCorp Scholarship this year. I figured I would go ahead and start the next thread for this award year. I'm currently finishing up some of my prereqs and will be starting my BSN program in June. I know the application date hasn't been released yet but from what I have seen on other threads, it should be opened sometime in March/April with a deadline in May. I've also read that the prompt questions have been the same from one award year to the next so I have begun working on them as well as trying to figure out who I would like to use as recommendations. I would love to hear from all who plan to apply this year.

Why everybody is so quiet today? Any update?

Very quiet! Last check said "Under Review" for me...and site is down know for "Maintenance" until after midnight.

Hi everyone, they started sending out emails. I signed my contract and submitted my W9 and college attendance verification forms. Now I'm in final review. Hopefully it all goes well and I'm selected. Good luck all!

Congratulations!! Still waiting and trying not to stress!! I thought the credentials you mentioned were in part of the original application process.??

I'm completing my BSN by December and starting the NP program in January. I applied for 3 years.

You submit your w-4 , enrollment verification , direct deposit info and electronically sign your contract after you are a finalist.

I'm going for FNP, in my second year, so glad to hear there is still some hope for NP's!!!

I checked my application, and still saying "Your overall application status is: Under Review". Praying. Any update for you guys?

Not at all @chic_mother... They just started responding. Keep your fingers crossed, you're still in the running until you know for sure.
