I'm asking for clarification for this, when we graduate and want to work at a hospital that hospital just has to have a HPSA score of 14 or higher correct? and that can be for either primary care or mental health like it doesn't have to be both ?

Hello my name is Gabby. I'm also applying for The Sentara BSN program but I'm pretty sure I will not get in. I'm a recent graduate from VCU my GPA is about a 3.1 and I only got a 72% on my TEAs exam with my highest scores in Math, then reading and then science.

I got wait listed to the accelerated program and the second degree traditional program begins next spring so I'm going to apply to that and just do that one if I get in.

Has any put any thought into the second degree traditional program ?

I too have been referring to the previous groups to help calm my nerves and gain better insight. I will be graduating in May with a Health Sciences degree. My grades aren't the strongest and I too have had to retake some classes but I did receive better grades in them. I also became a preceptor for anatomy assisting the students when the needed help. I have volunteered in the NICU and Pediatric floors for the past three years and I am currently working at MCV as a Care Partner on the surgical unit. I am hoping that my experience will make up for my lower GPA. I am more than nervous about decisions.
