Hi everyone,
I am interested in applying to the nurse corps scholarship 2017 2018 in order to pay for my accelerated program of sixteen months. I have a bachelors in sociology. I have done quiet a few researches. The application cycle will be open this month but I don't know which exact date. I have read discussion threads of previous years and have found really helpful information. I want to create a platform where interested applicants can ask questions, share information, discuss and help each other.
Thanks
It seems pretty early for them to be pulling credit reports unless they have ramped up the evaluation process this year. However, CREDCO is a 3rd party vendor that could be pulling information for any type of loan or mortgage, which is more likely at this point unless we are seeing a complete change to the application reviewal process.
I wonder if they are speeding it up because of potential budget cuts? I know lat people who apply for NHSC are reviewed before Nurse corp so that could be it that if they applied for that one. But I wouldn't thing that it is coincidence that multiple people have a CREDCO check on the same day who are applicants for the program.

We are still operating on the previous budget as the current fiscal year goes until the end of September 2017. These proposed budget cuts wouldn't take effect until after that and is dependent on approval from congress anyway. Based on all previous years, the grant reviewers likely have a deadline between July 7-11 to complete their application evaluations.
Hello everyone. I'm new to the website, and excited to see others who are in the same boat as me. I was recently accepted as a sophomore into a 4-year BSN/RN Program in Philadelphia. I have a 3.8 GPA , 000 EFC. I applied to the program and received an inquiry from CREDCO earlier in the month, but I was also shopping for auto loans, so the inquiry could be from anything.
