Starting this thread for those who applied for Nurse Corps loan repayment in 2021
Just received my finalist email! I know it is not guaranteed yet but I am still so excited that it’s is heading in the right direction.
Certified OB/ GYN RN
Nurse Corp loan repayment
DTI ~ 78%
HPSA 14
Credit check 6/25
Finalist email 7/30
FYI…. If you have a Yahoo email make sure you check junk/spam folder both my email and my friend email went there instead of my inbox so you could miss your deadline if not on top it.
Hi, I received the finalist email and signed/accepted the award on July 16 (my deadline was the 19th). I am still waiting on the co signature ?
I am obgyn certified, my DTI is 90%, and honestly I have no idea what my HPSA score is or how to find out. Also, I think it’s weird that they never checked my credit. I have tripled checked my creditkarma account and I don’t see anything at all. I applied last year and they didn’t check my credit, but I obviously wasn’t selected as a finalist either.
Is it common for people to receive finalist emails/accept the award and never get that co signature? I am getting antsy, I’m worried it’s soooo close and dangling in front of my face but I won’t actually get picked.
I received my finalist email on July 12th for NurseCorps loan repayment (NCLRP). I am also waiting for co-signature. (it's been just over 3 weeks since email stating I'm a finalist).
I have not yet heard of anyone receiving co-signature for nursecorps loan repayment but would love to hear if someone has!
Stats: DTI: 178% (at least). HPSA score: 17 - Psych NP

Thank you for sharing and Congratulations!!
FYI for others: I received and signed a confirmation of interest email on July 12th... still no 2nd signature (still states "under final review) yet.
Rubysasha, do you mind sharing if you are RN or NP (and specialty), HPSA score and DTI ?

RN and obgyn certified, DTI 90%, and I am unsure of the HPSA score but I think it’s a 10 for primary care.
this is what I get when I looked up my hospitals address
