Starting this thread for those who applied for Nurse Corps loan repayment in 2021

Applied to both NurseCorps and NHSC, received COI/finalist email for NHSC on July 9th, signed immediately LOL. 
Now I check all day everyday for my co-signature and it’s killing me! Just needed to get that off my chest.

Congratulations to those of you who have been made a finalist and have been awarded loan repayment! I'm sure it is huge burden lifted! 

I know some of you have listed your DTI and HPSA score, but for those awrded, would you mind sharing if your factility is Critical access (CAH) or Disproportionate Share Hospital (DPSH)?

Hi All, 

I just received my finalist email from NDHP. My question to those that have received this before or those with any knowledge , once you get the lump sum of 50k do you have to pay all 50k at once towards your student loan or you can divide the 50k into 24 months payment towards your loans. Thanks

Hello all,

I just learned about this thread yesterday and saw that people were receiving awards. Since I haven’t heard anything I tried to log into my application and  had to reset my password. I never received the link and had to contact support. Turns out the email was in my junk mail along with my offer that had expired! They were able to submit an extension request for me, but no guarantees that it would be approved. Has anyone been through this before or heard of a similar situation? The BHW support person said they have issues with Yahoo mail- which I have.

I had a friend who the same thing happened to her. She also had a Yahoo email and it was in her spam folder. She also put a request in and they did approve it because of the known issue. It took about a week and she was sent the offer again and I believe now she is waiting in a co-signature so reward still not guaranteed but at least going in the right direction. Good luck, I’m sure they will do the same. ?

@Myra2010 debt ratio over 150, HPSA score 24, they pulled my credit 5/20-even though I didn’t realize this until just now.

@Whnpj thank you for sharing. I fall under women’s health certified ob nurse however my  I DTI is less than 100 and my HPSA score is 14. 
I got my credit check 6/25 just wondering if people who got credit check around the time I got mine have received notification of finalist or award. ? Maybe I still have a chance ??

I got my confirmation email today for NHSC LRP. I am very excited! I have applied like 4 times as an RN and never got anything. First year as an FNP. How long does it usually take for the co signature?
