2018 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program

Hi all,

I've been reading up on the Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program and looks like in past years, threads have been started for the yearly application process. I'll be applying as a Staff RN (non-faculty) working at a DSH with an HPSA Score of 16. Not sure of my DTI percentage yet. Hoping to connect with others that will be applying to the program next month and we can all share our updates here. Best of luck to everyone!

Hi! I also applied but I don't think we will hear until August. Given what's happening with COVID I'm sure things are a bit backed up. I also know that they had extended the deadline for applications as well.

I saw that I had a second signature on my contract but my portal has not changed and I did not receive any notification.

Yes this is for the continuation contract. ?

Interesting, I never checked the contract because I haven’t been notifed. I know you don’t find out until August. My current contract is up in September, Looking at the documents I have a signature on my continuation from Jun 29th. That would be amazing if I receive the continuation, but this is very different from the way it was before. Fingers crossed. Good luck everyone.

Where on the Portal do you see the signature on the contract? Under Continuation Application does it say something outside of "under review".

I'm happy to hear some are starting to see a possible continuation award--yay!

Go to the under review where you uploaded your contract. Mine initially only had my signature, now it is countersigned like the first contract was

Okay no changes on that for me. I did notice the Continuation Application, where it says last updated is "7/9/2020", which I didn't make any changes at that time.

No changes on my contract as of yet either. Prayerfully, I will receive a third year. Best wishes to all.

Yes! I was tier 1 with a debt to income ratio of approximately 160%.
