Hi Fellow Nurses!

Is anyone else anxiously awaiting the 2017 cycle opening?

I have applied several times and praying that 2017 is my year. I'm tier 1 - not faculty and not an NP.

Is anyone else out there?

I'm guessing the post from a few days ago is probably right - I think the faculty had credit checks much earlier than everyone else, so they must be processing it in batches. Since some is reserved for faculty and some reserved for NPs I bet they do them in that order. Here's hoping we hear soon!

I have been anxious to hear as well. I am nurse faculty in tier 2 and had a credit check in May. I know last year they did fund faculty in tier 2 but wonder if this year they had more applicants and that won't happen. Still trying to remain hopeful!

Just checked CreditKarma, no hard inquiries this year so I am guessing if there is no hard inquiry by now, I'm likely not to get the award this cycle

Did you apply for more than one program? That seems to often be the reason for multiple credit checks.

No just loan repayment, I am a NP, and my site did not qualify for the other program.

Perhaps they are done with nurse faculty and have moved on to NPs now. I had my first credit check on 5/22 and nothing since:(

I'm still waiting and I'm faculty. It would be a shame if that's the case but even another tier one faculty has posted and no mention of acceptance even with a high DTI. The first person to post appeared to have her credit check pretty early. She was two weeks before mine. So I'm hoping and praying for OUR sake that they're going in order of information retrieved and tiers!

Have any of the RN applicants heard any news? I know that a bunch of us got credit checks on June 5th. Wondering if anyone in that group has gotten an update. Thanks!
