Nurse Corps Loan Repayment 2016 Cycle

Hello All,

I am applying for the nurse corps loan repayment program 2016 cycle, I just spoke to a representative who told me the application cycle opens up tomorrow. For those of you who have applied any tips advice etc.? I am very excited about this opportunity because I have an outrageous amount of loans.

How do I find the score for a facility in each state? I want to make sure I apply to these jobs once I graduate NP. Thanks.

datawarehouse.hrsa.gov is the website to search facility scores

I had no idea about this program. We will be done paying my student loans in a few months. I work at one of only a handful (less than 5 total) of facilities that provide mental health services in my state and I work in a urban hospital that serves a very disadvantaged population. I'm sure I could have qualified. I wish there was more information about this program available to people. Good luck to all of you that apply. Student loans are a huge burden and anything helps!

You are sooooo lucky to be almost done with your loans I am praying I get into this program because I have an astronomical amount of student loans

This is a site you can search by your hospital address to get your score.

For those who uploaded federal student loan data electronically with the automatic NSLDS tool, did you ALSO submit an account statement for each federal loan, individually? I did that for my private loans, but I didn't think that I had to do that for the federal loans... Looking at the application checklist, I wonder if I missed that part???

To my knowledge if you uploaded your federal student loans electronically you do not need to provide account statements just for the private loans but you could always call and double check just to be sure

Did call... You are correct. Automatic upload from NSLDS did NOT require account statements this year
