Getting an early start on the support group thread for the August 4465 class.
I heard it's second only to Research in terms of horror level...though having just survived Research, I'm optimistic about this one--it can only be better than Research was.
Hi-
I'll be in this class with you guys. Haven't taken Research yet, but everything has been reasonable since the Professional Nursing Class (First one). I was miserable trying to meet the demands of that class, or more accurately, the coach. I can handle time consuming, and all things considered, writing papers isn't all that bad. I work full time and usually take one 12 week course concurrently. So far that has worked well for me. I expect to finish the program by June.
So glad I discovered this site.
Does anyone know what the quizzes are like in Holistic Care of the Older Adult? Are they timed? Do I need to really study the reading material, or can I just read it and take the quiz?
Holistic Care of the Older Adult is open and the coach emailed me so I have full access, however that is not the class that I was hoping to get a head start on, Vulnerable Populations is. I hope my coach doesn't wait until Sunday night to email me. I work Monday and Tuesday and won't be able to do much.

I am also taking vulnerable and holistic care of the adult! I haven't gotten my books yet! Whoops! It totally slipped my mind!

That's actually a blessing in disguise...I just got an e-mail 20 minutes ago from the lead AC telling us what the correct book is. Apparently what is on the syllabus and listed in the UTA bookstore isn't what we're using.

Those two are definitely doable...the syllabus is online. Boston should be very interesting... I don't believe you really get the depth of vulnerable population if it done in the suburbs. I did mind on Baltimore city and I really enjoy it just wish I had more time. The syllabus is also online, good luck.
