NU SD Cohort 41

I have searched for a thread about NU SD's cohort 41 that is supposed to be starting January 2015. I am going to be applying next week after I attend the pre-nursing forum on Tuesday, the 15th. My goal is to get into the ABSN program as I already have a bachelors degree. I understand thought that the number of spots in the cohort is for both the general BSN and the ABSN groups. I am curious to see what other peoples stats are that are going to be, or already have applied for this cohort. I am so nervous because I knpow a lot of people apply and there are only about 50 spots available. I havn't taken the TEAS yet or the essay exam part. I have a 3.5 GPA, so I'm hoping I can kick butt on the TEAS and essay!

I'm definitely feeling anxious. It has to be any day now...

It's the end of the month already. Have anyone of you called and speak to the Director of Nursing? I only talked to my advisor Allison Sanderlin and she said she has not heard from anybody too so she can't help me find answers why it's taking some time or when we'll receive letters.

This is killing me. I am checking like four or five times a day, sometimes more. I just want to know already, one way or the other!!!!

I asked my advisor if he knew anything about when we should be funding out and he told me they are still waiting for the essay results. I really hope we find out soon, I also check everyday hoping to see if its been posted

Yeah I spoke to the front office assistant in the nursing department he said possibly November not sure but that the essays take the longest aaaaah I wanna know

It seems kind of crazy that they keep us waiting like this. At this rate, we may only get a months notice to get all our ducks in a row before classes start. Plus, the people that don't have the new pre-reqs will still need to be evaluated. I wonder how this will affect financial aid and getting it processed in time

This is my second time applying to National, and the first time we found out three weeks after I took my teas. I can not believe that this time it is taking so long. But I am still waiting for my financial aid package too, and I applied three months ago (all the paperwork on my end has been completed- it's all on them). I do not know what is going on with this school but at the moment they are so slow......

Its been three months since we applied. I honestly dont think its should take this long to read and score the essays. i dont understand why it should take this long. But then again, I have no idea whats going on. Thats also why I feel maybe they should email us and let us know whats going on or give us some sort of ETA so we are in the loop. I have had zero contact since I took the TEAS and it feels weird.

I don't get it either I hope we at least hear the first week of November it would be an awesome treat if we all hear we got in tomorrow for Halloween so here is wish in us all a happy halloween
