Hello Everybody
Im going into an interview tomorrow for a position as an RN on a respiratory unit... Im a newly graduated nurse July 2008 graduated and I was hoping for some feedback on questions I could expect. Im currently employed as a casual RN on a mental health unit. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
Thanks

When I interviewed for my job the only nursing based questions I was asked were related to ethics. They were mostly questions like, "If you saw a nurse doing such and such what would you do?" I didn't get any questions related to skills or medical problems. The rest of the questions were just run of the mill interview questions about myself.
Don't know if this helps in your situation.

Don't you have about 3 threads started asking this same question in each? (and even asking for answers to questions!)

a manager is looking for enthusiasm, a willingness to learn (you're a new grad), flexablility and confidence. as a new grad, you can be molded to what the unit needs......an open book that comes with little to no bad habits. have an idea what you can bring to the unit and what your goals are for obtaining the position. good luck! :heartbeat
