  2. Hello Everybody Im going into an interview tomorrow for a position as an RN on a respiratory unit... Im a newly graduated nurse July 2008 graduated and I was hoping for some feedback on questions I could expect. Im currently employed as a casual RN on a mental health unit. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks

  4. Thanks for the reply October... As a student I did extremely well Im just stuck in this mind set that I have to tell employers what they want to hear as stupid as it sounds. Ive never been to a job interview so this is all new to me. However I really appreciate the feedback.

In reply to neesau the reason why I asked answers was because their are things that employers like to hear... ie long term plans goals from reading on this website an employer is looking for long term employees and are not so supportive of continuation of education as much as they make you believe they are most questions were individual but others not so much....just to clarify

I went for my first interview today as a new grad and totally blew it....I was asked what urine output would be expected on a patient you receive back from surgery answer 30 cc I was off by over 500. I feel so stupid a question you would be asked in first year nursing I got wrong. Such an easy question I dont know what I was thinking....... Totally discouraged from applying any further.
