NSU EntryLevel Fall 2011

Published

Hello all nova hopefuls fall 2011,

I submitted my application a few minutes ago. I guess now the wait game begin. Currently, I have a 3.60. I am still enrolled in micro lecture and anatomy lab 2. Lets encourage each other through this long process. I will keep all of you updated on new information; however, you should check out the previous threads about NSU. They are really helpfull. Good luck to everyone.

i have a 3.4 too im just worried i reallly wanna get in for fall but if ur application got deferred i probably wont be able to start till winter :/ i have a friend that got in while she was still taking micro but idk :/ have u taken the 2 new pre reqs ?

My account says all documents submitted also. I apply for NSU Kendall Campus in Miami. I sent all my paper in Jan 15, K.R told me that I will get the letter around April or May. She said they looking for 3.4 GPA and up, this fall will be very competitive. They will get 75 students in Kendall Campus, 40 for scholorship from Baptist in Fall 2011 (with interview). I have AA Pre-Nursing in Miami Dade College and 3.51 GPA. It is a long time for waiting, I am so nervous.

Good luck everyone!

do any of u know if its easier to get into fall or winter?

I think winter, because Baptist do not offer scholorship in winter.

thats true. ugh im super nervous about applying tho my GPA isn't the best :/ ur applying to kendall?

I live in Kendall, It takes me only 5 minute to the campus.

Yeah I think competition for this upcoming semester is going to be tough :( I applied to the davie campus..but I have read other blogs from previous semesters in which students got their acceptance letters before april or may.. I hope that is our case..this waiting kills me. I think it is easier to get in the winter semester either way nicole

it makes sense that its easier because of the whole baptist thing. but i still get nervous just thinking about it. obviously i would have rather start for fall to get it over with. my friend told me the first 2 semesters are hard cause its so much information so i want to get that out of the way as soon as possible. I know some people that have gotten accepted before the time they say they will. you already graduated with AA right? or are u graduating this semester?

Hi guys I am now taking microbiology and the lab along with nutrition, i am hoping to get in to nova also but i am super nervous like everyone else since i am now taking these classes...but good luck to everyone

Whats your GPA?

I have applied for fall start at Nova, to the Ft. Lauderdale campus. Does anyone know how they choose? Mostly by overall GPA, when you applied, or science gpa? From the threads I've read, it seems quite random! I am wondering if it will help/hurt if I already have a previous bachelors degree?

I think it does help alot if you have a bachelors, but overall it does seem quite random..I'd like someone to answer those questions as well
