Hello all nova hopefuls fall 2011,

I submitted my application a few minutes ago. I guess now the wait game begin. Currently, I have a 3.60. I am still enrolled in micro lecture and anatomy lab 2. Lets encourage each other through this long process. I will keep all of you updated on new information; however, you should check out the previous threads about NSU. They are really helpfull. Hi everyone. I had applied to Nova since January 2011. I called to the admission office 2 days ago and they told me that I were chosen to Nursing major in Kendall campus but I did not get any email or letter yet. I had my previous bachelors degree and I think it helps.

I just got my acceptance letter today! I am soooo happy! The only thing that I'm worried about now is how to pay...any help?

congratssss :) your best bet is loans and grants which you get all that thru fasfa. try searching for scholarships try fastweb.com or google search all those little scholarships help so it doesnt hurt to try.

I got an acceptance email this morning! I am also looking for different means to pay. Do you already live in the area, or will you be looking for housing?

Hi Florida2010 and Buttercup90, congratulation on your acceptance. :yeah:

Did your guys get admissions packet yet? I got it yesterday. We have a lot things to do. I also get scholars program application packet from Baptist Hospital.You have to make sure to pay $500 Acceptance fee within fourteen days from receipt of the acceptance letter. You can check and pay on your VIP pages. In my acceptance letter, it states "your acceptance is provisional." I have to call to the admission and make sure that I am fully admitted to the program. If you get something like that, please let me know.

Hi guys! Thanks for the advice on how to pay. Hanguyen I did get my acceptance package that is how I found out I was admitted. I already paid my deposit in full :D My letter said the acceptance is provisional as well, but that does not apply to me because I graduated with my AA from mdc last semester. It only applies to you if you are still currently taking their pre-reqs such as anatomy I and stats.

Thanks Nicole for the advice on how to obtain different methods of paying. I will look into that. I have bright future's florida medallion scholarship..does anyone else also have it and know how much it will cover and how much we will have to cover?

Florida2010 yes I kind of live in the area.. its a bit of a drive since I live near hialeah but I think the drive will definately be worth it! :D How about you?

I haven't received my packet yet, only an acceptance email saying my packet is in the mail. I live in Orlando. I graduated with my health science/health administration degree from ucf last year. I know nothing about the area around nova or even where to begin looking! I am planning to drive down soon to scope out the place. I'd love to live with some other nursing students.

congrats on your acceptance :) what was your GPA? Were all your classes finished? When did u submit your application. Sorry for the million questions lol

Thanks! I have an overall 3.4 gpa, I was really nervous because I have two C's in anatomy and physiology. I had finished all my pre-req classes back in 2008 for my first bachelors degree. I think what also helped was that I have clinical experience in the hospital and nursing homes. I also applied super early, I believe around November 2010, I waited a long time to hear back, but it was worth it :)

Im super nervous too :( I have an overalll GPA of a 3.4 now but i have 5 classes pending after i should have a 3.6 but as soon as it shows up on my transcripts im going to resend them, and i applied like 2 weeks before the deadline soo im nervous :(

I got in yaaayyy :yeah: can someone tell me how soon i will recieve my acceptance package? i am hoping i still have time to appply for the baptist.
