What type of references did everyone use for the cultural competence assessment? My paragraphs and strategies were more so reflections based off of my results. They were not from anything that I read that said I would benefit from doing XYZ. The rubric does not state that we need a reference, so technically, I should not be deducted points for not having a reference....
Different TA's and all but I always include citations and references just to be on the safe side. I learned the hard way!! At least include the site from the cultural competence assessment ... if nothing else.
this is how i did my reference. i looked under the reading assignment and kinda followed what the teacher wrote.
georgetown university:national center for cultural competence (1999-2004). the culturalcompetence health practitioner assessment (cchpa). retrieved from https://www4.georgetown.edu/uis/keybridge/keyform/form.cfm?formid=277
Week 1 - Assignment 1 Complete the Cultural Competence Health Practitioner Assessment (CCHPA) and document the findings on the form attached in the course. The form is located at the bottom of the instruction page. There is no need to do a cover sheet or abstract for this form. You do not need to double space on the form, but use APA format for citations, references and the writing should be scholarly. There is part of the assignment that can be copied and pasted over to the assignment sheet, but please make sure you cite and reference the website. Assignments not completed on the form will not be accepted.
Yup - sounds about right now that I am reading the directions! Cite your source - don't need an "intext citation per se" - your citation is your results. I haven't completed this assignment yet. Have everything copied and pasted over - just need to actually write something and then clean it all up.

OMG this thread went crazy while I was at work!! I did not cite each result box....only pasted the results. I did an in-text citation in my summary. I also did an in-text in my genogram assignment from the text book. Probably not correct but...been there, done that!
Have four references for Genogram - website, book, a book about the Influenza epidemic of 1918, and a reference dealing with Swedish emigration to the US. Trying to keep it short and sweet but have 5 pages plus reference page. HELP!!!!!! And No I am not being what steph called "wordalicious"! LOL Just answering those silly questions in complete paragraph form of at least 4 sentences.
Did you answer each question with 4 sentences????? That's a lot of work
Yup - I did. Some questions I combined. Not sure if we were supposed to answer all those questions - I have found 2 different and confusing sets of directions - go figure right! But, I found the 2nd set of instructions that said to reply to the questions in the gray box after I had worked for hours on the genogram and the questions. Not going back and doing it over cause I do not believe that is accurate ... . Completely different from what was written in the weekly clues by the TA. Who the heck knows anymore??? Color me confused and disinterested at this point in time!

Well I hope you get a great grade for all of your effort!
