Hi has anyone applied to Novants nurse residency for Summer 2021? I applied to the charlotte market and was wondering if anyone has heard about interviews and if your application still says application received

Bangle, ADN, RN. Thank you, I will keep you updated. I was confused because I thought it was just going to be offers extended this week but maybe each unit does it differently where they want to also interview people before a decision is made? I haven’t heard of that happening but praying it goes well. Mine is next Monday.
 

Stay hopeful! I’m sure they are still reaching out to people.

Hey all!

I had my interview last week for Novant in winston salem. I had a zoom meeting yesterday and found out I got accepted into the critical care track!! Anyone else on here going into critical care at Winston?? ?

Congrats! In the email regarding the zoom, was yours worded as a “zoom interview” and you let them know what time and day worked best for you? Or were you just told a day and time and when to attend and were other people present? I just am still confused if it’s another interview or a meeting to say congrats and extend an offer.

The email was worded exactly " **VERY IMPORTANT**  Interview Follow Up- Update  Summer Cohort"

We were just told that the meeting would be held on April 14th at 430pm & given the link to attend. There were other people present in the meeting & that's how they told us together that they were offering us the position in the critical care residency program. I'm pretty sure they're just doing these meetings to let everyone know at once. Was yours different?

Okay, yea mine was worded differently and didn’t give a date and time just asked when I could interview, so I am doing so on Monday. I did the interview last week as well with one of the nurse managers of the residency. I thought the email I received today would be an offer but I am trying to get into Surgical Services so maybe they do it differently where they want to meet you and interview you themselves before making a decision.

That's interesting, I didn't know they kept doing interviews after the initial one. Either way another interview is definitely a good sign & good luck!

Is it for Charlotte, Rowan or Winston?

I didn’t know either, that’s why I was surprised. It didn’t say but from some research I think Winston.
