Hi has anyone applied to Novants nurse residency for Summer 2021? I applied to the charlotte market and was wondering if anyone has heard about interviews and if your application still says application received

Yes, it's just one interview for all markets. I was in first round, but I had a great experience. Just waiting to finish school and take the NCLEX so I can start.

Yes. I went to nursing school in NC. Sounds like big and exciting changes are coming your way! So excited for you. Hopefully we get some information by tomorrow.

Yes. I will let you know if I hear anything. Thank you! Have you checked your application status recently? Has it changed? Many applicants have said it changes once we become under consideration for hire. Mine hasn't changed since my interview.

Mine never even changed for the interview. It never changed since weeks ago when it said “recruiter reviewing application” or something like that. So someone hasn’t been updating the status of mine and I’m just telling myself not to worry about it because I’ve seen some people whose status is updated regularly and others whose hasn’t been regularly updated and they still got offers

Mine constantly changed as I went through each step. I want to work General Surgery since I was already offered a job before residency program (my preceptor is the manager :)). Therefore, I'm doing medical surgical.

What they did that's new this year is instead of calling everyone (for winston market) we all did a zoom (it was about 90 of us) letting us all know we were hired, instead of calling every single person.

Good point! I am sure they are super busy. Based on past threads we will most likely hear something by today.  One last hurdle to go in our journey! Stay strong and focused no matter what!

My status has changed too, but not since my interview. That's wild and smart to do a zoom meeting to inform everyone! How did that work?
