Nova Southeastern Winter 2015 - Entry Level BSN

Published

Helloooo future Sharks! =)

I haven't found any threads on the upcoming NSU Winter 2015 entering class so here it is.. Does anyone know when they will start calling for interviews? I know the final day to send in apps is Oct 1st so I'm assuming they'll start doing interviews close to that time? Talk about a forever wait! Anyway, I'd love to talk to others in the same boat or anyone who's gone through this recently and can offer any advice.

I was told that they'll start calling for interviews in October. Good luck!!

Hello!! Have u heard anything from NOVA? This forum is so quiet.... I wonder if there's another one we should be checking out :)

Hi! I was originally accepted for Fall 2014 but I had to defer my admission for Winter 2015. I'll be attending the Kendall campus (:

I applied for Fall 2014 as well, but my application was deferred to winter 2015 since my foreign transcripts evaluation was not delivered on time. I have an interview and Kaplan exam scheduled for next month. Any tips and advise? Thank you!!

I was also told they would call in October. I'm so nervous!! I'm applying to Broward College and PBSC. One of them has to give, right?

Does anyone know what's the average GPA of accepted applicants?

I recommend using the Kaplan Nursing School Eantrance Exams study book and just review it before the actual exam

Great, thanks!! That is the book I've been practicing on, the fifth edition. Good luck to everyone! =)

I have one more question on the math part of the Kaplan exam for those who have taken it: are we allowed to use a calculator?

Thanks!

Yea, I think the calculator was on the computer. And I'm pretty sure we were also allowed to use paper to work out the problems, but I don't really remember. I'm sure you'll do great! Just give it your best and it'll be fine

Hey Sharks! "Patiently" waiting for that email/letter. I just applied to Browards program and passed the HESI as well. I also submitted my app to Nova a few months ago. Graduating from Broward in December with my AA right after I survive Micro! Nova is my first pick, thats the one Im dreaming about. Good luck to everyone out there. Lets get this thread going.
